As part of the Energy Regulatory Commission’s (ERC) initiative to promote greater access to the competitive electricity market, Green Cross consolidated the energy demand of its eleven facilities to meet the 500 kW threshold, qualifying the company for more competitive and flexible electricity rates.

The ceremony marked the start of a long-term partnership between MECO and Green Cross through the Retail Aggregation Program (RAP). Beyond delivering cost savings on electricity, the program ensures transparent and reasonable pricing, empowers consumers with the freedom to choose their electricity supplier, and reinforces consumer protection measures. The signing was held on July 14 at the Green Cross main office in Muntinlupa City, attended by executives from both Mabuhay Energy and Green Cross.
